Ten quick HR statements, answers with the evidence behind them, and a score at the end. It takes about three minutes and you do not need an account to try it.
A policy applied equally to everyone can still disadvantage one group more than another.

How it works

2
Decide
Work through realistic cases: screen candidates, rate employees, read the data, and make the call.
3
Learn
See your decisions next to expert benchmarks, with the reasoning, so you know what to do differently.
4
Prove it
Collect medals, earn certificates anyone can verify, and put your new skills into your resume.

See it in action
Go beyond theory with practical experience
Your dashboard tracks your level, streak and medals. Every practice shows the evidence behind each answer, and every simulation compares your decisions with expert benchmarks.
For fifteen years I taught HR to university students and led an HR degree program through accreditation. I kept seeing the same gap: students could define HR, but few had ever made an HR decision. So I built HRThink, a place to practise.

ACBSP-accredited and SHRM-aligned program, led as coordinator
No. All three practice games are free to play without one. When you finish, sign in or create a free account and your result is saved, so you can collect medals and track your progress. The Resume Builder needs an account.
How do I join an HR Lab simulation?
HR Lab simulations run in classes. Your instructor gives you a join code or a link: sign in, enter the code, and the simulation appears on your dashboard.
I am not in a class. Can I still use HRThink?
Yes. The practice games and the Resume Builder are open to every learner. If you would like to take part in a simulation, send me a message and I will tell you how.
How is my work scored?
Your decisions are compared with protected expert benchmarks written for each case. You see what you did well, where you drifted from the benchmark, and why it matters.
Are the certificates real?
When you reach the pass mark set for an assignment you receive a certificate with a code that anyone can check on this site. Certificates recognise completing the simulation; they are not formal qualifications.
How long does it take?
A practice game takes about three to six minutes. Simulations are set up by your instructor, and you move through them at your own pace.
